Unless a music video has a story and I really like the artist, it is usually hard for that video to keep my attention for more than a few seconds. This video by Cypress hill x Rusko is one of the most visually compelling videos i have seen since Gnarles Barley’s ‘Crazy.’ I haven’t really heard Cypress Hill since I was a kid and they were popular, but I have to say they did a good job blending their rap style with Rusko’s grimey sound that I love.

I like to think of Mac Miller as feel-good hip hop. Millers punchy natural flow puts you in a state of relaxation that really makes you want to light up if you already haven’t or even if you don’t. You won’t find the N word, guns or talk about the hood here, but instead plenty of references…
Recently had a window seat on the ride back to California from NY and was loving what I could see in what I thought was pure desert. At 10k feet it is amazing the perfect geometric shapes you can see. Multiple perfect circles, grids, squares that all look like extraterrestrial artwork in a perfectly flat, tan canvas. Before you know it there is stark contrast of the jagged mountains. I tried doing it justice on my iphone, but this guy did it much better. Check them all out here.

A little while ago we had an arto that described the reasons you shouldn’t smoke. It was a bit harsh (and true) but jeeze we don’t wanna alienate any of our readers who might be smokers so here’s some reasons to pick up smoking.
